Charlotte joined GLEC in December 2023 as a Laboratory Technician supporting nutrient laboratory activities and assisting with UCMR program logistics. Prior to joining GLEC, she worked as a laboratory aide and medical assistant at Munson Medical Center and a private practice in Traverse City. Charlotte has a B.S. in Biology from Albion College.

GLEC operates one of only a few U.S. laboratories that is NELAP accredited for whole sediment toxicity and whole effluent toxicity (WET) testing. GLEC also maintains NELAP accreditation for chlorophyll and nutrient chemistry testing.

GLEC's Columbus, Ohio laboratory is accredited by the Arkansas Department of Energy & Environment for Acute and Chronic Toxicity Testing
