EmailDavid holds an M.S. in Conservation Ecology and a B.S. in the Program in the Environment from the University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources and Environment. He is an experienced field biologist who has worked as a field crew member and crew leader for U.S. EPA’s National Aquatic Resource Surveys since 2007. Other GLEC field experience includes relicensing of hydroelectric facilities, rapid bioassessments (e.g., Michigan Procedure 51), habitat assessment, bathymetric and discharge mapping, as well as sediment and water sample collection. He is expert at collecting, preserving, and identifying larval and adult fish samples and in applying GPS/GIS tools to field research and reporting. David is an experienced Vibracore operator and is certified in first aid and CPR, as well as 29 CFR 1910.120 HAZWOPER.
