EmailJamie has been a GLEC employee since 2001 and has nearly 20 years of experience conducting and managing field and laboratory studies related to water quality. He has played a key role managing various field crew training, logistical support and field sampling tasks associated with USEPA’s National Aquatic Resource Surveys, and he is the program manager for GLEC’s surface water quality monitoring contract with the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy. His principal area of expertise is the development and implementation of surface water quality and aquatic community monitoring programs, and data summation and interpretation. Jamie is a GLEC Vice President, Principal Research Scientist and Co-Manager of Operations for GLEC’s Traverse City headquarters. He holds a B.S. in Environmental Biology and Water Resources from Heidelberg University and a M.S. in Limnology from Michigan State University.
