Since 2014, Michael has helped orchestrate the sourcing and provision of some 1,500 sampling kits to 60+ NARS field crews in NARS survey seasons, a complex assignment which requires careful coordination with NARS program staff to identify crew supply and equipment needs and ensure that the products meet survey technical requirements. He also supports NARS batch laboratory operations by coordinating the tracking, receipt, distribution and proper handling of field samples analyzed for various NARS indicators. Michael is also an experienced licensed builder and has led storage and distribution facility expansion projects at GLEC’s Traverse City laboratory. Michael has a B.S. in Environmental Geology from Colorado Mesa University.
