Skylar began working at GLEC in July 2024 primarily supporting laboratory and logistics work for the EPA's UCMR program at GLEC's Traverse City headquarters. Skylar earned a B.S. in Environmental Science with a Minor in Biochemistry from Lake Superior State University.  His Senior's thesis described the impact of nutrient dynamics on algal blooms.  He also has an Associates degree in Freshwater Studies from Northwestern Michigan college.  Skylar brings skills in website data management, GIS, graphics applications, and social media management along with his experience conducting laboratory and field research while studying at LSSU.
