Zach joined GLEC in April 2024 after earning his B.S. in Computer Science from Central Michigan University. Zach's primary responsibilities include supporting database development and logistics for the implementation of USEPA's Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR) program.

GLEC operates one of only a few U.S. laboratories that is NELAP accredited for whole sediment toxicity and whole effluent toxicity (WET) testing. GLEC also maintains NELAP accreditation for chlorophyll and nutrient chemistry testing.
GLEC's Columbus, Ohio laboratory is accredited by the Arkansas Department of Energy & Environment for Acute and Chronic Toxicity Testing
